startin food plot
 

im planning on making a small (1 acre) food plot next spring.. just lookin for some fresh ideas

I would try some corn,clover,and peas

I have never done a food plot in the spring so I don't know what to tell you there. Ours are always fall plots and we put in winter wheat, Three types of clover, Buck forage oats and occasionaly some rape.

corn, corn, and a little more corn. always reliable

clover is always good, Red or white will do fine

do i have to till everything or can i jus weeed whack

till it all and put down weed killer,like round up.Or you can go with whitetail institutes" no plow".and another company makes "secret spot"

but i have like really tall grass

mow it ya lazy bum:lol: :lol:

does lawn stuff like WEED N FEED good for the plot
