Crappie red Hot

The crappie have been red hot for the last couple days on at least two TN lakes. Old Hickory, outside Nashville and Chickamauga outside Chattanooga have been turning big catches.

Smallmouth action is picking up as well.

We debone them, bread them, n deep fat fry them. Yum!

yep just filet them bad boys out batter n fry !! crappie and sauger are hands down the two best eating fish in North America. IMO
here on this lake the crappie bite is good all winter but best late fall and early spring. live minnow, or tube jigs, or fly rod with orange popeye jig all three will smoke um !!
