Largies vs Smallies

the debate on which is funner to catch smallies put up a hell of a fight regardless of size while largys are bigger and the bigger the better the fight.. what do u think?

lb for lb the smally always gets the nod in my book. One of the best fighting fresh water fish period. I didn't say eating though as I'm not real big on bass for supper.

I love to catch smallies, they put up a real fight. I guess they just like to act bigger than they are. They don't taste bad either.

I have been addicted to brown fish since I caught my first one, 40-years ago. To a large extent, smallmouth are all I fish for. I only own one rod with line larger than 6# test and 90% of the time, throw 1/8-ounce jigs.

But I don't mind catching a buzzard now and then.
