just got done taste testing the crappie. very good. much like white or yellow perch through the ice. i'm with you hm bass taste like the bottom of the lake to mebut fun to catch. much rather just turn them loose.
With work schedule so nasty our annual Canadian fishing trip won't happen this year. This is not a good thing and no ammount of OT money can't replace a lost fishing trip/year. I'm going to plan for next year and hopefully that happens. Bummer.
You bet ronn, I really have a hard time trying to figure out which I enjoy the most hunting trip vs fishing trip. Maybe its the balance that works best. Guys are catching post spawn walleye on Lake Erie right now. The fishing should be good for the next 2 months.
