man my fishing line keeps gettin caught in the trees.. but hey what can you expect.. hard to fish from my treestand

You ought to put your treestand in one close to the water. That way you can kill time between deer.....just drop a hook and see what happens.

im jealous. i think that would cool. we dont know what ice is down south

Ice fishing is a blast 1-2 of us is the norm but we try to have a day out of it and then there is probably 5-6 of us . Then is just a party on ice, we set up our tip-ups get out the grill have burgers usually venison, hot sticks,and beverages :biggrin:

It does sound like something to try. The only ice we know in Tennessee is the ice we put in our tea.....:thumbup: or the stuff we scrap off the car on a frosty morning. I'm looking forward to spring already.:thumbup: Truth is, we do get some ice. About as often as we get snow.....once in a blue moon.
