Default New boat shopping

Well I have decided to replace my current boat with a new/newer one. This is a pre-retirement purchase to be paid off when I walk out the refinery door for the last time. I am looking for a 17-18' aluminum. Lund boats are very expensive, as are all new boats, but 2014 leftovers may be affordable and there are a few with-in 300 mi from Toledo. Smoker Craft, Crestliner, Lund, Aluma-Craft ect all make good boats. If anyone wants a very good condition boat I am selling a 2007 Smoker Craft Pro Angler 161. It has a 50hp Merc 2-stroke and I have additional equipment to go with it. May seem strange boat shopping with snow on the ground and 18* outside but I never said I was normal

made it home late last night took way longer than expected due to severe weather conditions. We saw over 40 wrecks some minor others major. We were stopped for 3 hours on I-80 in Indiana for a big pile-up. You couldn't tell whether I brought home a Lund or a Lowe after all the salt and snow build-up. Now I have to try to get it in the garage with a heater going to thaw it and start cleaning. Who brings home a boat in -10* across country??
