I use to do a bit of trout fishing when I had my cabin. I liked to stuff them with rice, butter, and lemon/pepper seasoning, rolled in tin foil and shoved in the coals of a fire for 30 minutes.

In the 90's we leased a cabin from my late buddy's neice after she inherited it.It was on the banks of a small trout stream. On weekends I would fish before breakfast while my wife slept in.The trees met over the water and shaded it.One summer the stream dried to a trickle and trout were trapped in deep spots among rocks.I put the rod away and dammed up the cracks in the rocky bottom to get some flow going(aeration). It usually was good fishing well into summer as the trout moved up from a larger meadow stream for the cooler shade.

Now we're going to visit the kids in Florida and sample some salt water fishing.
