WTB: Remington 700 SA RH wood stock (used)

I picked up a Remington 700 BDL short-action (.22-250) rifle (right-handed) with a stock that was toast. It's a project rifle. So am looking for a used or take-off stock in factory sporter barrel channel. Doesn't have to be fancy just woods-truck-gun-serviceable. No heavy gouges, cracks, or breaks.

Anybody know of any?

many years ago (1980's) I called Remington to ask about replacement stocks and the person I ended up speaking with asked me if i was interested in a slightly Blemished replacement stock.
I ended up paying 30.00 dollars for an unfinished stock that I couldn't find a blemish on. Not sure if you would be as lucky but I think I would start with them.
Good Luck

Try Almans in Morristown MN

The traditional gunshop of Almans in Morristown MN will have a replacement used stock. They have been in business sense I think the 40s and were mainly a gunsmithing operation. The old man named Alman started it as a sporterizing operation with ex military arms. They still have I am told thousands of stocks in the basement. My friend needed a new forend for his Dad's old Rem 742. They went through a whole shelf of them and instead of finding a match to the butt stock, went with a new forend and buttstock that matched perfect. They can be found on the web and their phone number is listed to ask it they have what you want.
