MX3 Muzzy's did it again. The 8 pointer went about 60 yds down hill after a good high/low double lung shot. This has turned out to be my best year ever and still have one more doe tag. The broadside high/low double lung shots put them down and is the shot to wait for, especially for archers. This buck actually spooked at 45 yds up-wind and ran, I called him back with the old doe meet meet call, he came right back to with-in 25 yds, his final mistake.

Thanks gfd2, I added a doe last night with another double lung shot. Will have lots of work when I get home as my nephew just hung a big Michigan doe in my garage.

Don't ask me why my buddies think I am nuts but I like the processing part
take a while but nothing like the stories cooking fresh veni while taking care of the harvest

I wish you were closer too, I think you'd fit right in with my group. I think I'll ask my neighbor to help, he always gets a grab bag anyway.

we talked about hunting Ohio but western NY is a long enough drive for us
& we think after 6 years we finally figured out the land deer on the other hand were getting better but just when you think you have them figured out well you know the rest
