Lost my uncle on Saturday morning. He left his wife and son and his son is 14yrs old and I have been doing all I can to keep him occupied and trying not to let his mind settle on the tragedy "hitting home". The hardest so far for him was going into the funeral home and seeing his dad for the 1st time since the hospital and that was very tough on him. Tomorrow is going to be the worst because the casket will be closed forever and lowered into the ground and there is no way to prepare anyone for that moment. I am asking for a prayer that can help my cousin through this terrible time in his life and also to give his mom the strength to pull through a painful grieving process....alot of times in life I wish I could take all the pain and sorrow away from everyone and put it all on me.
Sorry to hear about your loss. My mom died from a heart attack when my little brother was 14. Its tough loosing a parent. My prayers are with you and your family.
