Went good fellows. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Greatly appreciate your prayers.

He is up a feeling better right now. It took him awhile to come out of it but he made it just fine. Kinda hard to explain to them why everyone wants to poke or prod on them so they drugged him up pretty good.

I got some pics of him I will put up tomorrow.

Here he is all happy before surgery. Did you know they can now knock kids out with a liquid? Before they give them the IV? Medicine has came a long way.



He wanted me to take a pic of his teeth. Drugs?



In recovery



We went back this morning. Everything looked good. Vision still isnt great out of that eye but now at least he doesnt have the big black spot in the center anymore. Hopefully the brain starts using it again.

We have 80 gallons of eye drops for the next week to prevent infection. And a guard to protect it. (good luck keeping it on a 3 yr old)

Next week he gets his prescription after the eye heals completely and a new set of bifocals. So far so good.

oh.. did I mention $26 grand later!!!! We are in the wrong business!! Thank the Lord for insurance. We pay a grand. Still a lot but nothing like $26k
