| |  Lost a good one
My good friend died last night on his motorcycle and he was a great person. He was a businessman and put alot of his own money into what has turned out to be one of the most recognized and toughest gyms in the New York area. Boxing and MMA is what his passion was and he took in anybody from anywhere free of charge to learn the disciplines or to just let out some steam and vent. I've had the chance to work with him for many years and through his help I was able to make a run for National gold and silver a few years back. We've also churned up amateur boxers and sent them to the professional levels and sculpted hard core cage fighters too. He has no children but considered the gym members his family and has done so much for the community in a positive way. He took a chance one day and decided to start a gym up not knowing it would take off the way it has and we hope to continue his dream. Now along with the big city names of Buffalo, Lackawanna, Niagara Falls, Rochester, Syracuse, the small city of Salamanca has been added to the map of boxing and MMA. Asking for a few small prayers to get his family, friends, and the punchers and bangers a little help in dealing with this tragedy. Thanks fellas.

TG, I'm sorry to hear of your buddy's passing. You and his family will be my prayers. Take care man, I'm feeling your pain! I lost one of my very best friends way back in 1975 in a boating accident but I think about him all the time. He was one of my high school hunting buds. At the time, I bought his bike from his Dad just for keepsakes. Good friends are just like family and it really sucks when we loose them!
