yeah, same here... don't think praying for his death would be a good thing to do. Instead, I hope he moves on to something other than the Presidency. With an approval rating of only 41% that just might be the case.... but then again, when you add in all the "illegal's" votes....

i dont think it to harsh. yes maybe im more of an eye for an eye guy than a turn the other cheak guy but. think of this. the vers i posted is the one tha emeadiatly folows the one you did, and i did not post the ones that follow it. that would have been harsh. 9Let his children be fatherless
And his wife a widow. 10Let his children wander about and beg;
And let them seek sustenance far from their ruined homes. 11Let the creditor seize all that he has,
And let strangers plunder the product of his labor. 12Let there be none to extend lovingkindness to him,
Nor any to be gracious to his fatherless children.
i wish no ill will on his family. as a mater of fact, think about this. the man hates god. just look at the way he talks about christianity, and the way he talks about islam. what do you think tha chances are that his two daughters will exept christ into there lifes and become saved if they keep hearing what he has to say? now imagan this, he is delivering one of his anti god speeches, when out of nowere, and a blue sky, comes one single bolt of linghtening, striking him down, in such a way that there is no denieing that it was the wrath of god. imagan how many people would realize that we need to put god back into our countery so that we as a countery will not suffer the same fate.

I have not been to church in a long time because of my own personal reasons but I DO believe in the Lord but Hunt NH I don't get what you are saying
1. eye for an eye what has he done to deserve death?
being a terrible president?
2. you wish no ill will on his family but pray for his death?
& the rest I really don't get aren't we as Christians more forgiving & understanding then others also isn't it the one great thing about living in the USA is the freedoms we have including Religion?
what I am saying is the way you wrote that sounds like he should die because you think (could be true) he is not Christian but is of Muslim faith?
sounds more Muslim then Christian to me
I am not going to post any further because this is the worst argument to have Religion & Politics combined
If I am wrong how I interpreted it I apologize

Well first off, Psalms 109 is a prayer for the enemy. I do not consider Obama the enemy. Just because a person has different beliefs than I do doesn't mean I'm going to treat him like my enemy. Now, that said, I do not agree with all his views politically, religiously, ethically and morally. Do I want to see him in office for a 2nd term, HECK no. But what we are saying is that to wish that someone's family be fatherless and wife a widow is awfully harsh. Plus that is meant for the enemy of a fight/war/battle. Now with the recent news of Bin Laden, HE would be considered the enemy. And his wife(s) are now widows and his child(ren) are now fatherless. That would be a good verse for him. My whole point is we need him out of office. I'm not saying someone should cause him harm or anything of the sort. I just want him out of the White House.
If you look at the passages in the Bible, before what Bruce posted, it reads:
1 God of my praise, do not be silent.
2 For wicked and deceitful mouths open against me;
they speak against me with lying tongues.
3 They surround me with hateful words
and attack me without cause.
4 In return for my love they accuse me,
but I continue to pray. 5 They repay me evil for good,
and hatred for my love.
6 Set a wicked person over him;
let an accuser stand at his right hand.
7 When he is judged, let him be found guilty,
and let his prayer be counted as sin. 8 Let his days be few;
let another take over his position.
If you read this passage carefully, this is one group trying to overcome another. Obama is not trying to "overtake" us in that way. Now, some would argue that his view are meant to "overtake" us in areas of our lives, but these passages are not meant in that sense. Verse 7 is the most interesting to me... this is for all of those out there who pray to a different god besides the living GOD.
Anyways, that's my take on it... not trying to start anything NH, just my point of view.
