prayer req

so two weeks ago my supervisor gave his 2 weeks notice. landed himself a real good job closer to were his girl friend lives. the first shift supervisor what the minumum requirement were to replace the second shift supervisor. he got all exeted about the fact that i was interested in it and stared sending out a bunch of emails to the bigwigs about it. yesterday at work i found out that there are two of us they are consitering for the position. and that HR, the plant manager, and the General manager will be talking to me about it tomorrow. please pry that they have the wisdome to choose wether or not i am ready for this position, and that they make the right choise. even if that choise is No.

I am a firm believer in accepting whatever the good Lord lays before us, we should give thanks in every situation and you have a great attitude just from reading your posts here.

You will be in my prayers. I do know one thing for sure, If God leads you to it; He will lead you through it! Sometimes things don't seem to go our way but it is just God's way of leading you to something better at a later time.

Hope you get the position. I spent 22 years in the union and then went into management in 1997. While the money is good the stress is not so good! Just think things through, it's a big work change being the boss, as it changes how you look at things, think, act, ect, this isn't honesty, integrity issues just changing from a worker's perspective to a management one is different. I hate paperwork and doing operating proceedures. Good luck.

thanks guys. things were to bissy to do the interview fryday. gona have to do it some time next week. havent even desided if i will even take it if its offerd. just through my name in the hat to see what the job intailed, what the pay would be, and if i was even qualifyed for th position. they know this. i would be a fool not to atleast see what its all about, but that dose not mean i have to take the position.

One thing I've learned in my short life span is this,,, make sure it's right for you and the way you do that is by praying to God yourself. Make sure this is something you want to do and not just something that will give you a better pay or benefits. It's important to be happy with what you do. There are many people out there who don't have that privelege, but you do what the Lord is calling you to do! I'm sure you will excel in whichever choice you or they make!
