As I read once about an old guy that refused to go back to church with his wife. Their pastor was very puzzled by this, and asked the wife if she minded that he pay a visit to her husband. Several days went by and the pastor showed up to visit her husband as agreed.

The old guy, invited him in and they sat by the fireplace that had a fire going. The pastor picked up a poker and knocked a small chunk of burning wood away from the fire. They both watched this until the fire in that small chunk died out, and then watched the hot glowing amber die out.

The old guy, looked at the pastor and said that he understood and would be in church on Sunday. The pastor then said, it's been great sharing with you see you Sunday morning.

good point.I remember asking my uncle"if God is everywhere why i cant i just pray when and where i want?"His reply was well sometimes you talk to your friend on the phone and other times you visit his house which talks do you enjoy more?

Those are really good stories/memories guys. I am unable to describe the feeling of dawn breaking along a mountain stream and soft gurgling sound it makes, or the majestic rocky mountains snow capped in all their glory, or watching my dad outfishing all of us so called fisherman on one of our Canadian fishing trips. These are but a few reasons that church to me is wherever I'm at, I know that I stand before God as he guides me through this life. I do not make light of church going people nor do I try to impose my beliefs on others. Religion is important and the way each and everyone of us celebrates it, as individuals, is just as important. So far I've enjoyed this new forum!
