I figured we would start this forum off with some basic knowledge about each other.. What church are you a member of and for how long?
Here is my church ---> Welcome to Faith Baptist Church, Estill Springs, Tennessee! We have been going there for probably about the last 6 years. The people are friendly and we have a pastor that preaches Bible. This church is in the small town of Estill Springs TN, (pop not many)

I was born and raised a Luthern. I do not regularly attend church. My belief is that once God created nature and earth and saw his masterpiece he simply needed someone to enjoy it as much as himself, thus he put man here. I am at true peace when hunting/fishing and sharing this great land and thank God everyday for being allowed my short time here to enjoy his creation. Religion is what you make it to be therefor it is a highly private/individual matter with Him and myself.

well said HM and i too was baptized Lutheran. I believe "organized religion" is a product of man and therefore self-serving. I believe what i believe about God and believe in a higher power, but would never want to take away from someone else's faith. I believe God is here on earth in everyone of us and in the good things about the world. I also believe the devil is here also and the battle for our "souls" is won and lost each and every day, in what we do and don't do. Judgement day to me is at the end of my time will I have made a positive impact on those that know me and have I done more good in the world or bad. I call it church of the woods which is where i look deep inside myself for answers, but it can be called whatever anyone wants.

My wife and I attend The Kalispell Christian Center and we enjoy it very much.
Christian Center is located amidst the Rocky Mountains of Northwest Montana, in the Flathead Valley's leading city of Kalispell. We feature a wide array of need-meeting ministries ... as Christ-followers we're here to serve by loving God and loving people. You'll find us to be an encouraging church family who simply believe that the local church is the hope of the world!

This is a risky forum....grins. I wasn't raised in church and am not fond of organised religion either, although I do attend Church. In my early 20's I joined the Catholic Church (my wife was raised Catholic), but for the last 15 years have been going to the Church of Christ. For those of you who know the difference between the two, they are at the oppisite ends of the spectrum of Christian Churches. I am comfortable worshiping in any Church, as well as in the woods, on a retreat, whereever. I believe God is inside us, and a very personal God, found in the heart.
