The ky bow season started last week but I put a nail in my foot a few weeks ago and got a bad limp now till all heals up. Still on the hunt for my first nice velvet buck. Hope I'm back on my foot before its too late.
That stinks, get well soon. I have taken bucks with velvet but they didn't stay looking good after they dried. I don't know if there was something I should have done or what but it looked terrible.
ouch, I did the same thing many years ago building my cabin. I stepped on a 30 penny barn spike and drove it through. Worse part was when the er doctor had to go in to clean the wound channel out. That brought tears. I hope you heal up quickly.
I am always worried something like that is going to happen to me just before hunting season why I am wearing a hard hat , steel toe boots & wrapped myself in bubble wrap till Sat. All kidding aside
Hope you get well soon & get in the woods fast good luck
Yeah thanks everyone !!! I did invest in a pair of puncture proof insoles for my shoe's, now with a puncture resistance of 270 lbs maybe I can keep it from happing again.
And I think I might try to go next weekend, hopping I'm good enough to go by then.
