I've been out pricing new truck caps and holly cow have they gone up. Leer, ARE, Century doesn't matter what name is on it price is the same with-in a 100 or so.

I found that out too HM. Bought a new Ram 1500 a year ago and went right away to price a top, one with the little 6" rise in the roof and I have the short(5'7") bed. A little over $1400. The last one I had I got used and they painted and installed it for $500 total.
