busy today

Got on line and found out 4 of my recurve bows sold yesterday. :pickle: However, had to figure out how to box them and head to the post office and see if my shipping costs were covered, yep. Tomorrow I get a chance to purchase a pre-64 model 70 Winchester in 243 cal, it has a 2x8 scope but the owner wasn't sure of the make. Beings its from the late 50's maybe a B&L or Weaver??? I really don't know what my chances really are as these rifles have gone out the roof and my budget was blown with the boat purchase. I hope the owner has mercy on me and I walk away with a nice collectable piece of history. I'm gonna need a whole lot of luck and a good poker face. :bag:

HM,
You will really enjoy your new gun. I have the exact same thing which I bought for $250 with a Lyman 6x scope. You wouldn"t believe the ration of crap I got from everyone for "paying so much". I bought it in 1976 and at that time it was a lot of money but it worked out. Enjoy, they shoot like a dream

I looked on line for a moment and man they run $1000 and up! I'm not holding my breath but just maybe he'll let it go in my price range.

Boxing up stuff and going to the post office is one of the things I hate doing the most.

Staying busy on your days off makes you live longer though.

Good luck on the "new" gun purchase.
