This is something I've been curious about for a while. When you scroll down way to the bottom of all the forums, it says"Most users ever etc. etc." then "Active Members 128" etc. I recall about 6 or 7 weeks ago there were like 141 active members, now I think there are 115? But every time I look down there there is a new member name. So my question is simply what is the criteria for determining how many "active" members we actually have?? and why does the number keep decreasing?? Does it go by how many posts you have in a specific time period?? Just wondering. Thanks
I don't run the site or have anything to do with it but other sites I'm on all have the same thing on the bottom of the pages. I'm pretty sure the server is able to keep log of members as people log in and out of their account and would be considered an active member if the sign in periods are within a certain amount of time. But this is just my best guess. Can't prove it lol

I'm guessing there is a criteria that has to be "met" by active members before the server calls you "active". Maybe you have to sign in at least every 2 days or 3 days or something... That's my guess.
Members have to post 1 time every 30 days I believe to be considered active. This happens every year during the offseason. Active members go down. Come hunting season or as early as July you will notice the active members going back up.
