Hill County, TX (~60 miles south of Dallas)--
Man dies Monday at a Fort Worth hospital after being struck in the chest with a shotgun blast while hog hunting in rural Hill County.

He was hunting with wife, father, uncle, and brother when the shotgun discharged around 3:45 Monday afternoon.

All I can add is that our hearts and prayers go out to the man's family.

Same here, it really hits home when you hear about accidents like that. That's the biggest reason that we don't do deer drives anymore, and haven't for a long time, you just don't know when someone might get too excited or lose track of where the other guys are(or are supposed to be) etc. It's not worth it. We don't even bring our long guns into the cabin, they stay out in the trucks.
