Haven't heard anything about this topic from you Northeasterners!!! Surely you have something to say about it?!?!

I wonder if GFdeputy is stranded in NY?

West Central NY were I live got lucky! Only a dusting which was gone by sunday afternoon. The snow stayed east of us. My Bro in Conn got 11 inches of wet snow and is expected to be out of power for 7 to 10 days. Its back to "normal" fall conditions here.

My family still lives in Ct., and they got hit pretty hard. One town got over 27" of snow and just over the Mass border another got 32". Where my parents are they got about 8", but never lost electricity. My sister, on the other hand (about an hour away) lost her electric and the electric company says it could be TWO WEEKS! Let's just hope it was a worst case scenario they were quoting. They do have a wood burning stove for heat, however.

I'd like to hear from some Mainers, as their gun season should have started just as the snow was ending(?) on this past Saturday. Well, anyone enjoy some fine tracking conditions up there in northern N.E.??

we got 22.2" hear. but this is NH, nothing new to us. (although it did come much earlyer than normal) i could be wrong sence i dont have time for it this year, but i think front stuffer season opened yesterday, and bow season has been open for a wile. so for the guys who could hunt it must have been realy nice. i hope its still around for opening day of rifle hunting, hear in a few weeks. usualy we dont have snow on the ground till late rifle season if at all. but with all this global warming you never know. stupid democrats.
