Black bear hunting on deer land

Might be a stupid question but here it goes: I have 20 acres in N. MN. I hunt deer here during firearms season and blackpowder season. These seasons are in November and Dec. I would really like to hunt black bear this year if I end up pulling a tag. If I do go this year will hunting black bear on my 20 spoil the deer season? Black bear season runs from sept to mid Oct. If I bait the area will the deer avoid the area?

I can't advise you on the baiting as I have never hunted where it was permitted. But I don't think you will mess up your deer hunting if you hunt for bear earlier in the season.
