I can't say a lot on the subject any longer but what I have to say is,
Yes I am a Moderator and Yes I have the ability to ban members and people will think and say different things about me but, I know I am a fair moderator, during any discussion I follow the rules and expect others to do the same.
In the Lodge Forum there's a thread of "forum rules" listed at the very top when you enter, all very basic and easy to understand, one rule says the following.
"- Disagreement is wonderful and makes for a good discussion. That being said, we need to make sure we act our age and not let good discussion degenerate into name calling and foolishness. Remember, everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if that opinion is the craziest thing you've ever heard."
There were numerous times I could have reprimanded ronn due to that Rule but I didn't right up until and ONLY until it all got out of hand and I did what I thought I had to do in a heated moment, other Moderators even Buckfever could have stepped in during any time to calm things down and to remind everyone of the rules.
Anyway, All this time later people are still saying well someone should have done this or so and so should have done that, still with no clear answer as to what should have been done, but,
because I did what I knew to be the right thing to do at the time I'm still having to read comments on how Bruce this or how Bruce that.
Come on guys put yourself in my shoes, I think I was the first one that said I didn't want ronn to leave, If I wanted ronn gone I would have banned him for a lot longer than 1 day.
I don't care if anyone wants to comment on the decision I made but please don't make my decision sound like such a malicious act or make it sound like I wasn't able to successfully seperate my personal views from my role as a moderator because I dont think I abused my power and I don't think a 1 day cooling off period was a malicious act at all, in fact I think it was the only fair thing to do.
Good Luck on all your hunts!!!

Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the outcome of the vote.
