Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the outcome of the vote.

Guess that's the 'joys' of working an off shift for a change. Sleep schedule is so messed up right now, I find myself wandering through the different topics for something different to respond to.

Uh oh, it's almost 2 am and I guess I should turn in for the night!

Oddly enough sleep is the exact reason that I haven't been able to post as much on the good old DHC as of late. I took a new position on the 3rd shift and I am working 6:45 PM til 7:15 AM(which is a lot of the time more like 8:30 AM after all the paperwork).

Anyway all is good I guess and I finally bought 2 new rifles this month. A 30.06 and a .17HMR. I will post some pics for yall once I get rested up. LOL

I am off till Tues and I intend to drop some big ol does in there tracks(and maybe even a monster buck if I get a chance).

Happy hunting everyone and be safe out there!

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky
