My 11 and 13 year old daughters just completed the R.I hunter safety course this weekend. I am pretty excited both passed with flying colors. My 13 year old got to fire a 20 ga. slug gun for the first time on there range... should have seen the grin on her face it was priceless! Need to get her some range time this fall and hopefully she will want to at least come and sit in the stand with me.
Thanks, guys hoping to have the girls at least accompany me into the field this year. They are both going to get involved in a jr shooting program at a local club to learn the ins and outs of shooting, safety etc.. It is once a week all winter and should be a good expierience.
Its a family tradition! congrats to you and the daughters.
