Opening Day

I will be up early tomorrow want to be in the stand before the sun comes up. With any luck maybe I can put one down. I have never taken a deer on opening day. I will be hunting in an old abandoned apple orchard.

best of luck to ya.your so lucky that your season opens so early i have to wait till oct

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

Good Luck Critter !!!

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the outcome of the vote.

Got up early this morningand walked in int the dark I didn't see any deer but the hawk that flew within a few yards of me was pretty cool especialy since it sat in the tree right in front of me. It got to be to warm and I was back at the truck at 10:45 a.m.
