About 6 months ago,Buckmasters calls my home.They are trying to talk me into their lifetime membership.It's 500.00.I tell them to send me some info about it.I (wife)decides it's too much money.And I had been spending too much on knives anyway.This Friday my wife calls me and tells me I received a collection letter in the mail from some company in new york.I call them and it was from Buckmasters!!I call them and they tell me I owe them 500.00 for something I never ordered.Then they tell me the only way they will stop the collections,is if I will extend my current membership for 28.00.I told them to go to he@@.They are trying to force me to stay a member or they will sue me.I never recieved anything from them except the magazine that I already recieved anyway.I'm not sure how this will end.I wonder what Jackie Bushman would say.

Sounds like a scam. I would call and/or write my state attorney general and explain the whole thing to them. (My guess is that you are not committed to this.) Then I would call Buckmasters, get a superviser or someone higher up than the person who answers and tell them that you have been in contact with your state's attorney general. Scams usually buckle really quickly when there hear this. Good luck.

They tried the same thing with me with the new membership subscription. I tild them to get bent and I still get calls from thier telemarketers. I treat them like any other telemarketers though. Next time tell them about your call to the attorney.
