Default Protecting a deer feeder

I'm having trouble with a bear tearing up my feeder, anyone got any suggestions.

I shot one once and didn't like the meat and said I would never shoot one again.

i had it in chili tasted pretty good.We had bears raid the feeders all the time hey they're bears thats what they do,kind of like REALLY BIG racoons

You have to try black bear sausage. It will knock your socks off. Just as good as the Italian sausage at your local county fair.
