Bugs in Fish
 

Has anyone ever run into little white worms in fish? If so, what's the deal??

just pick em out most fish have parasites.i once caught rock bass that had small white/yellow worms i called the Fish dept and they said dont worry,cod gets red worms too.hold the fillets up to the light and pull em out .if your really worried call your local fish and game department and let them know and ask

i've told folks if they ever held a haddock fillet up to the light they'd never eat fish again. what joel said.

Throw an old catfish in the bottom of the boat on a hot summer day and the worms will come out.......disgusting.

Does that filet to the light thing prove the same even if you bought a fish from a Wegmans or Tops?

yep hold the fish up to a bright light and look for red,white worms,spots.then use the tip of the fillet knife to work it out or tweezers
