At about four to six weeks the chicks have most of their feathers and can go outside permanently if they have a predator proof enclosure and a roosting place.
Since the weather is warming up they will be fine.. You just dont want young chicks.. 4 weeks old hanging out in 30 degree weather.
Pretty cool.. It looks like its eating outta your ear..
