Have been lurking in the background for a while and decided to join. This is a great forum!!
Message to ronn: I just finished readig an old thread of yours about your daughter leaving for school in Va. I was very, very touched by your thread.Brought tears to my eyes. I am 45 yrs old with a 15 yr old son that is my best friend. We do everything together, hunt, fish, ride atv, golf and anything else. Reading your thread made me think once again what I will do when he flies the coop. All we can do is to teach them values and morals and respect and love them, the rest is up to them. Any way, sorry to ramble. By the way I live in Good old Va. Any way take care!!

It is nerve-racking when they leave the roost but comforting to see them maintaining their independence..

Welcome: As far as the empty nest goes, trust me, you will get used to it, and as long as it wasn't "cats in the cradle", you'll see more, and be on a much better field with them.

Welcome from TN. We like it when the lurkers join. We know you will stay around for awhile. You already know how we handle our site and got an idea of the members already here.
Just like your response to ronn. We are all about hunting and at times some lively debating, but we are still a online "hunting" community that talks about other stuff besides hunting too.
