Default Count your Blessings

I just got home last night and received a call that daughter, son and son's girlfriend were rear ended on a major expressway by a drunk driver. They wre hit in excess of 50mph. Good news no major damage to the kids. Neck sprain/strain and leg sprains and lower back sprains. Big damage to the daughter's 2006 Pontiac Grand prix. Almost lost my two kids from a drunk driver! I'm not in a good mood regarding those that drink and drive. We'll see what the attny says.

Glad their ok.. Count your blessings is right on the money..

The drunk drivers tend to get my blood boiling too. I lost my aunt, uncle and a co-worker that way. I dont like seeing folks get hurt but I do wish the drunks would recieve it before the innocents. It just never hardly turns out that way. Their bodies are so loose they just go with the roll.

Yes thank God they're ok. I hope the drunk gets stiff fines, some jail time and a lot of community service work BUT
the reality is, The Judge who probably drinks more than he will most likely just slap him on the hand and
send him back into society to try and kill some more innocent folk.

I say no mercy to drunk drivers, first offense or not, who knows what can happen if they get another chance to drink and drive. There's more than enough crap happening in the world to be dealing with those idiots that choose to drink and drive. Good point Bruce.
