Read hunting mags. I will look up every 20 seconds or so and sweep scan - left to right.

Here in Germany we sit patiently in the blind and observe the area around us. But some guys are also sleeping and wake up in the right moment.

On those days when I know I will have a hard time staying awake I go to a spot on the side of a canyon where there is a tree grown up into a perfect lounger at the base. I set my seat pad down and go to snoozing. It is a neat spot because the canyon is full of blackjacks (white oak trees) and the ground is covered with about a foot of leaves (and acorns) by hunting season. The noise of a deer moving through wakes me up every time...I think. Otherwise I guess I just watch for wildlife...imagine that.
