Default fishing

Just a couple of other pictures of the trip. The cabin is the only private cabin on the lake. There is a provincial park that boaters stay at but rarely are there more than 7 boats on the lake and any time. That's me with a 8-9 lb pike on the last evening!

looks like a great place for some R&R
Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the outcome of the vote.

that place looks SWEET! Now that's vacation. I've always had a hard time understanding why people want to take their family to disney world or some place where there's tons of people (I'm not knocking those places, they just aren't "me") when they could go somewhere like this. My wife and I have been talking about booking a cabin or house on the gulf and just swimming and lounging around for a week or so with the kids. Now that to me is vacation. Anyone ever been to Dolphin Island? A buddy of mine and I went when I was about 22y/o and we stayed on a beach front house with his family. Talk about amazing.
