Mom may be passing-on soon.

Got a call from my sister in Tampa last night. She said my 99 year old mother is failing. She's comfortable and lucid, but her doctor said it looks like she is shutting down. So I'm off to Florida tomorrow. Will be there at least a week. Hope I get there in time. Just wanted to let you guys know I'll be off for a while. Go hug YOUR mother.

i will keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers.

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

Sorry to hear it, glad she's comfortable. Sometimes all we can do is make it as easy as possible for them. You and yours will be in my thoughts.

Well said Turtle. I'm very sorry to hear that onehorse. To live as long as your mom has is truly a blessing. Safe travels to you MR. onehorse.

Onehorse, We will keep you, your mother and all your loved ones in our prayers.... God Bless you all.

Thanks. Your thoughts mean a LOT to me. Mom is still comfortable, but this really is the end. I have to return to Montana on Tuesday, but my sister has support from the hospice folks - and family here in Florida. Thanks again, guys, see you when I get back to Montana.
