i said people not you ronn.if you feel i insulted you im sorry but i didnt insult you.Im entitled to my opinion and i see people who are needlessly wasting resources for no apparent reason If you choose to drive a gas guzzler dont complain your spending too much.Gas in other countries is 7$ a gallon.china and india who's manufacturing is gobbling up the oil(demand) is also causing a supply problem This is economics 101.As far as racing goes .while i enjoy watching it i agree that they waste plenty of gas.

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

OK Bruce, now you've crossed the line.

ATTACKING RACING, whats next a new fuel tax for all NASCAR FANS ?

Just kidding, there are a lot of ways we definitely could reduce use.

Nawww Nascar is ok,, it was just one small example of how fuels are just totally wasted for entertainment purposes..

Holy smoke! I put this thread on, took a day off from the site, and when I came back, it looked like you guys pretty much beat the heck out of this one. Almost got a little too "edgy" there for a minute, but it looks like we got through it like gentlemen. Good work, guys!

I just wish when the aliens came 8000 years ago they would have gave us their technology then and we wouldn't have to go through all these growing pains now!

yeah i wish those guys on the nazca plains would have written something down. slackers!

I read an article a while back about the guys at the, I think, University of PENN getting water to combust. Personally I think this is the answer.

Yea its the hydrogen that is separated from the water (H2O) and burns for combustion with only water vapor as an exhaust. Imagine that, then we'd probably end up with a tropical rain forrest from all the water emissions. You'd go to the water pumps to fill up and water would cost 4 bucks a gallon and we'd be complaining. Somewhere there is a balance, wish they'd hurry up I need gas today!
