Nope, don't know anything about it, or what could be learned. Would like to hear more though.

As a youngster, I trapped enough to buy most of my hunting things. Muskrat is very good eating. I have seen the return of good prices for the pelts like 3.50-4.50 for ex-large. Now for the story, at only 13 years old I would ride my bike at midnight down to the ditches and run the traps, then return at 6:00am and run them again. This was done all before school. I had one local policeman who would stop most nights just to check on me. That was 40 years ago. Just another old story guys.

i would love to but i live to far away from any good trapping that would allow me to check on them every24hrs ,which i thought was the rule,i may be off on the time

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky
