Default cars

Here is something we haven't talked about here and off hunting. Anyone into muscle cars? Being from the end of the muscle car craze I've been on line looking lately, Early Trans-Am, GTO as I am a Pontiac man. I wouldn't purchase on line but it's a good way to locate a potential car. Anyone else into muscle cars and what help you have to offer.

LOVE muscle cars, and bemoan today's all-look-alike faux muscle cars. When I was searching for my first car at 15-1/2, I looked at a 1970 Firebird and a 1970 Mustang Mach I. Dad nixed both of those. But in my dream life, I have a garage with a 69 Mach I, a 70 Baracuda, and a 70 Javelin. They don't make cars like those and haven't for a long, long time.

Many many years ago I had a new 73 GTO, last of the big cars. I like 66-67, 70-71 GTO's. 70-75 trans-Am's. Bucket list I guess, maybe someday I hope. Looking is fun!

Default All my buddies were into Fast Cars..

My High School years were 70-75. All my buddies had serious HP under their hoods. I couldn't afford to own what they had, but I did get to bleed on all of their cars. We had fun swapping motors, transmitions, and whatever they broke this week. I feel bad my Sons didn't get to wrench on cars like I did. They are better Athletes and Musicians than I was.

Well right now I have a muscle car taking up space in my garage. Details are long and boring... but the car is not mine- but a family member's. I have access to "run her" every so often and I'm in love with the car. Too bad the car is worth about 1/2 the house I live in. 2013, 427 Chevrolet Corvette, 60th anniversary edition.
