A nice ride We went horseback riding this past Sat. Started on top of the mountain and rode down. In the pic of the horses the one on the left is one of the ones I just got. http://i29.tinypic.com/wumpmc.jpg http://i31.tinypic.com/i6ioa1.jpg http://i29.tinypic.com/14uj2pw.jpg |

Nice but where's the snow? lol Looks pretty much like the area I grew up in, Giles County. |
Buckfever, We haven't ridden our horses on a trail ride for several months. Waiting for better footing. Too icy or muddy right now. I'm getting itchy, but it won't be much longer. Here are some photos from one our our rides from last year. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/j...acation020.jpg Oaky and me after a climb to 8500 feet. He was a little tired. Me too. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/j...acation019.jpg My wife, Linda, and her Arab. She's the real horse person in the family. Maybe you can call her a "whisperer". http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/j...li/calfelk.jpg A calf elk that we rode right by. The horses didn't smell it nor saw it because it just froze. |
