Lab

I have to take my yellow male lab in for surgery tomorrow. At 8 years old he has to be snipped to save his life. When your prostate and bladder are the same size it's not a good thing. He's been passing blood and the vet believes getting rid of all his tostoserone (spell?) his prostate will shrink and he will live a long life. Hopefully he is correct. He's my little buddy ! I know this is off subject for a hunting site but Gunnar gets a little moderator tolerance time.

Good Luck HM, I hope all goes well for your buddy, Gunnar.

Gunnar made it home a bit lighter than he left but hopefully for the long haul now. It's not funny but first time I've ever heard a grown dog cry. He's been whining ever since he got home. Moving pretty slow and he got some pain pills so maybe the crying will go away. This is the last time I will wait to neuter a male dog, puppies are the right time if you're not going to breed them.
