Christmas eve is celebrated at my mom's home with all the family. With two granddaughters now we have some small ones to buy for. There are always some hunting presents given as well as Bass Pro and Cabela's presents. We cut trees together and enjoy the family time. The birth of our savior is the greatest present ever given. Holidays also brings the memories of those who have passed before us, always remembered and never forgotten. Lots of food and family time!!

Christmas eve used to be at my inlaws but now that my father inlaw passed & my Mother inlaw lives with us it now will be spent at my house with our close friends Christmas morning always around the fireplace with the wife & kids then to my parents. If we have snow it is usually a snowshow treck with the wife or a 4 wheeler ride if no snow.
as far as the Gifts we don't do as much anymore just for the kids
to us it is not about the presents as it is just to be with family & friends
a day to remember & look ahead & just relax

Used to be visiting family and the Holiday trek to see the relatives in Philly, but all of them are dead, gone or dispersed. My own family is just my brother, sister and myself with our families but we're spread across the three farthest points of the States, so together-time is seldom. There's a hole where the old traditions used to be.

Well for Tator and the little Tators.... :) We always have a big supper at my parents on Christmas Eve with my family, my brother's family and my sister's family and our grandma's. After supper we got to Christmas Eve service at our church and that really puts the whole season in perspective for us. After that we go back to my parent's house and the kids open presents from their aunts and uncles and cousins. Then,,,, BRING on the egg and sausage breakfast casserole on Christmas morning!
