Just read that the Northeast Hunting Community lost a legend last night. RIP Larry Benoit. You will be missed. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family
What a shame. I've enjoyed the two books of Larry's I've read plus the one Bryce Towsley wrote about his experiences hunting with Larry and his clan. Simply a man among children when it came to whitetail hunting prowess. I read a post a few years ago in another forum where a fella just simply dropped by Larry's home, knocked on the door and was treated with a couple hour visit with the whitetail Guru. Now that there is a man comfortable in his own skin; inviting a perfect stranger into his home to sit and talk hunting.
Rest In Peace Larry.... My condolences to the Benoit Family.
May your spirit continue to guide the Hunters that share your love & passion for Whitetail Deer...
I read some of his tracking stories years ago.I always wanted to try it,but here in PA you run into no trespassing signs.I hope his family is able to continue the tradition.
