Bruce, my cousin has been playing guitar for years and he's awesome at it. He has 10+ guitars and I can't even name them all. A couple that I know of: Gibson LesPaul, Fender Stratocaster, some flying V thing, BC Rich warlock or something like that, I don't even know if I named them right. He can sit down, hear a song on the radio or whatever and play it to the exact note when it's done. Slide guitar too, like that movie "crossroads" with Ralph Macchio and Joe Seneca. He does some classical tunes real fast on those too. Alls he does is sit at home playing guitars and surfing on the web. He is a hermit.

Timberghost, that's really cool for him to be that good but such a shame to keep all that talent cooped up.
When I say good quality guitars I mean parts-wise not necessarily brands,, like which is the preferred Tuners or pick-ups or which is the better fret size or best woods for the body & neck, preferred string size, stuff like that...
I'm a rookie at guitars and it amazes me that people like onehorse have the patience to build them...

P.S. Can't leave out Steve Vai "Jack Butler" from crossroads I heard he (Steve Vai) actually wrote the Duel song He and Ralph Macchio played at the end actually played by Steve Vai and Ry Cooder

Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the outcome of the vote.
