Default working outside

Well the annual flower planting is done, grass mowed, truck washed. Started this morning and finished at 9pm. Ended up with a pretty good sunburn, ouch. Flower growing is something my Dad passed down to me. He could plant a dead stick and get it to grow. Sunday was the 4th anniversary of his passing. Today as I was planting all the annuals that will only last this year, I know he would be proud of the tradition that he enjoyed so much. While Mother's day is right around the corner, I was today, enjoying a father/son day!
Thanks Dad!

That's a great past-time. Plus it makes the whole lawn and house look good. We haven't even had our first mow of the year yet. Thinking about putting down some spring lawn fertilizer though.

I'm sure the sunburn looks horrible but I bet the lawn, flower beds and truck look awesome!!!

awesome- sounds like you had a great day outdoors! I wish I could get a couple days in a row without rain so I could finish up planting the garden.

I wish I had someone to pass down those skills to me. I can't plant anything and make it live, even my artifical plants die
