Enjoy shopping GF! Thanks to the Prez and policies that are pushing up gas prices which cause everything to cost more my hunting budget is next to nill so no shopping for me. | I have been to the Hamburg store also that place is SWEET
the Auburn store is ok not huge but a good store
as far as the shopping I agree mostly will be drooling & wishing & not buying the "local" sporting shop I deal with for all my archery stuff is hard to beat on prices could not find my bow cheaper anywhere even on the Net

this is the one we stop at every year on our way to hunting camp | Yes in Auburn. I don't know how big most Bass Pros are but I think that store is real huge. I like the aquarium thing in there too.

Auburn is actually on the low end of the average size store I think that one is about 80,000 sqft but it is a nice store. They do have a very nice aquarium setup
their smallest store is 42,000 & headquarters is 300,000 sqft

I have a Bass Pro 35 miles from my house, but the nearest Cabela's is over 2 hrs away in KC. I have to say, I like Bass Pro better too, but Cabela's is nice as well. Never been to a Gander Mountain- not sure if there are any in Missouri- never heard of any

They have plans to open a Bass Pro Shops in Anchorage, AK which has us all scratching our heads. We don't have any bass up here. Unless they shift the supplies that they carry to specifically target salmon, halibut, cast netting and such then it'll be a massive fail. Sure, the clothes and outdoor gear will be nice, but supposedly a Cabela's is going to open in that town too. Will be nice to have options, but it needs to morph to Salmon Pro Shops to be truly useful. I have zero need for a crappie rod and reel, but could always use another downrigger-class salmon rod.
