I posted a piece on my Father in Law and his dedication. I also have a piece on my Father and his military service. He was a Marine in the Vietnam war. Many Native Americans were recognized in history of warfare and the State of New York has honored the Seneca tribe. My dad is the one standing at the beginning and also speaking at the end. To have him and my father in law both being there to share their experiences and to see the things they have and lived to tell about it is beyond incredible. Both have seen serious combat and loss of friends and their eyes tell it all.

My dad tells me what it was like going through airports back in the '60s . . . being spat upon for serving their county in an unpopular conflict. True heroes in my book.
