mechanical broadheads

ok soo i just picked up a set of barbs( Eastman Firstcut Tri Force Broadheads - OutdoorsExperience.com ) i opened up the package and i see a little rubber band is what holds the barb closed....soo where do i get more off these little rubber bands.....im a bit pinched on money too soo any ideas?

you should be able to pick them up at a local sporting goods store. If they are the ones im thinking of they should be pretty universal.

hmm....soo you have to get special rubber bands?....i was hoping maybe i could get away with using those little rubber bands that people use for there braces or whatever, the bow shop i use is about an hour drive maybe walmart?

i guess my only concern is the rubber band not breaking because its latex which isnt supposed to break

yea thats the only thing im thinking is what its made of or its strength being too different.

any 99 cent stores nearby.i found an"o"ring kit had 100's in it for 99 cents.Go to a hardware store and ask for "o"rings bring 1 with you for size refernce.In NY barbed broadheads are illeagal check your regs before hunting with them.

YES! in VA broadheads must be over 7/8 upon impact
