help me find a crossbow

Well I finally went to the dr. to look at my shoulder and and he says I've torn something. So much for shooting by bow at least for now. What type of crossbows do you guys recommend?

If money is non important I'd say a PSE TAC is probably the best IMO, and has built in cocking system, only down one might see maybe is you have to shoot bolts made for it because they are longer than the average crossbow.
Barnetts are about the biggest in name brand right now, I personally have a older Horton 150lbs straight limb I got at dicks sporting goods about 12 years ago at a right price, ( back then it was on sale and it was under 200) I been thinking of upgrading myself to a newer cam'ed crossbow.

Ten Point and Excalibur are pretty much top end models.

I've come to the same problem, too many years of concrete work have finally caught up to me, I can still draw mine but it is really hard. A while back Natchez Shooters Supply had Barnett Quad 400's for $318, they are a little more now, but I test shot one and it seemed fine to me and I could cock it just fine with a $20 cocking rope. They come in a package with a 4 arrow quiver, 4 arrows, and a 4x-32mm scope. 345 fps, really fast! Way cheaper than a good compound these days!!

I'm a short gal so I'm wanting to find one with a shorter stock. I haven't looked at any on the stores yet but on the catalog pics it looks like the Barnett ghost might be good.

Man I want one !!! the "holy grail" of crossbow's !! Who else has 412 fps, built in release system, anti dry fire system, built in cocking system that also is the ONLY crossbow that you can use the same built in system and uncock. The two big down falls to it are the cost, and I don't have one yet

I dont own one but i've heard a lot of good things about the Ghost 350.
