Good luck !! Only 8n hunting around here is the old ford tractor, hard to kill with a bow and the farmers tend to get a little ticked off trying to harvest their equipment expesualy if their still on it. Lol but REALY hope hope ya have better luck this year, sounds like you all have a few tags to try and fill.

Yeah we do but with the luck we had last year I am hoping to just fill one out
we have hunted this area for about 5 years but decided to bowhunt it last year (rifle season is like WW3)
so it was like starting to learn the area all over again. we had a lot of fun & a few missed opportunities
so this year going in not hoping for much but a good time
I will feel better at the end of the week if we don't get anything

thats why i love bow hunting !! i do still gun but to get away from all the guns and for me it put the hut back in hunting ! anyone can pull a trigger and sling lead 100 yards down the other side of an open field, there are a million reasons why i prefer bow hunting, but anyone that bow hunts already knows
its not about the harvets its about the almost stories at the deer camp later that evening ... not realy its all about the harvest but the stories are geat too !!!

well made it back from NY wrecked my shoulder again on the way out & had a lot of trouble drawing my bow this past week lost the chance on at least 5 deer due to not able to draw the bow. took a doe on the last night 53 yard shot helped but still dissapointed I missed the chance on the other 5
As much as I hate to I have orderd a new Hoyt & trading mine in I am going with the standard Rampage which has less aggressive cams & I am able to draw smooth next may have to be a crossbow if the shoulder gets worse
all in all it was a great week
